Pope Francis Donates US$100,00 to Mexico for Cyclone Victims

Pope Francis has donated US$100,000 — channeled through the Pontifical Council Cor Unum — to help those affected by cyclones Ingrid and Manuel.

According to the Mexican Episcopal Conference, the cyclones left 149 dead, 53 missing, and hundreds of thousands homeless. The Vatican is distributing the funds to the victims through its dioceses in the affected areas.
