In a meeting on Friday to gather support for a municipal candidate in the state of Miranda, the national coordinator of Voluntad Popular — a centrist political party in Venezuela — urged Venezuelans to consolidate their vote.
Leopoldo Lopez stated that the current economic crisis in Venezuela is a result of the national government’s bad policies. He went on to say that a democratic alternative would allow them to build a better Venezuela that involves peace, welfare, and progress.
