Trump Celebrates His Triumph in New Hampshire: “What a Great Victory”

“We have beaten Biden. You could almost say: Who can't? Who the hell can’t? That man can’t put two sentences together. He can’t find the stairs to get off a stage,” said Donald Trump, who is already thinking about the November elections. On the other hand, Nikki Haley congratulated Trump on his victory

Spanish– The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, celebrated his victory over the former US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, in the New Hampshire primaries this Tuesday and is already projected as the chosen candidate for the November elections.

“What a great victory,” he said to his followers after the American media, with about 36% of the votes counted, have already declared him the winner of the night, with more than a 12 percentage point lead (55.4% to 42.9%) over Haley so far.

The former Republican president took advantage of this momentum to underline that there are already polls projecting him as the winner in the upcoming November presidential elections against Democrat Joe Biden, who is seeking re-election.

According to a Harvard CAPS-Harris poll released on Monday, Trump would surpass the current White House occupant by 7 points in that potential face-to-face, with respective percentages of 48% and 41%.

“We have beaten Biden. You could almost say: Who can’t? Who the hell can’t? That man can’t put two sentences together. He can’t find the stairs to get off a stage,” said Donald Trump.

Nikki Haley congratulated Trump

The former governor of South Carolina congratulated former President Donald Trump on his projected victory in the New Hampshire primaries this Tuesday, but did not consider her own electoral race to be over.

“New Hampshire is the first (primary) in the nation, but not the last,” she said in a speech delivered shortly after the country’s main networks declared her only rival in that contest the winner.

Haley began that speech by acknowledging her defeat: “I want to congratulate Donald Trump on his victory tonight. He has won and I acknowledge it.”

“The race is far from over. There are dozens of states left,” pointed out the former ambassador to the UN, whose percentage of defeat this time is less than anticipated.

In New Hampshire, only 22 delegates are distributed out of the 2,429 who will participate in the Republican National Convention that will nominate the candidate for the White House this summer.
