EspañolForeign Minister Delcy Rodríguez said Venezuela is ready to withdraw from the Organization of American States if a meeting of foreign ministers takes place Wednesday, April 26.
“If any meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of American States takes place, which does not have the backing of the Venezuelan government, I have received instructions from the Head of State, Nicolas Maduro, to begin the withdrawal of Venezuela from that organization,” said Rodríguez on Tuesday night during an interview with the State-run channel, Venezolana de Televisión.

Maduro is not willing to continue “allowing legal and institutional violations, nor arbitrariness that surpass any moral threshold.”
“We will not allow this government coalition to follow a very open political and ideological bias against Venezuela,” said Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez.

Immediately, Congressman Opposition leader of the Popular Will party Freddy Guevara tweeted: “Regime on the ropes: no regional elections, militia, dialogue, coup, constituent and now exiting the OAS … Let’s keep going!”.
