EspañolColombian authorities reported on Thursday that two boys recruited by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) died from explosion wounds after they threw a bomb at a police building in the municipality of Tumaco on Colombia’s Pacific coast. The youths, aged 12 and 13, injured eight officers in the attack.

According to the police commander in Nariño province, Colonel Hugo Henry Marquez, the two boys, identified as Luis Sebastian Preciado and Angelo Cabezas Pierre, had enlisted in the Daniel Aldana Mobile Column, an active division of the Marxist guerrilla in the area.
