EspañolSenators Bob Menéndez (D-NJ) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) presented a resolution today before the US legislative upper chamber, demanding sanctions against Venezuela to punish “the violent repression suffered by peaceful protesters.”
The resolution states that the United States should condemn Venezuela’s government for violently suppressing protests, and implement individual sanctions on officials associated with the Maduro administration who hold assets, property, and travel visas to the United States.
