EspañolOn Saturday afternoon, criminals robbed two diplomats from the Embassy of Bolivia in Ecuador, when they were heading out from a hotel in the city of San Pablo de Manta.
The two armed suspects approached Bolivian diplomats Manuel Monray Zafareta, 53, and Karolina Aracena Bacadolz, 50, and stole their wallets, cell phones, official documents, and a digital camera. This occurred during their visit as tourists to El Murciélago Beach.
According to the police, two marshals from the Motorized Operation Group arrested the suspects who were on the run, 400 meters away from the crime scene. The suspects, age 20 and 24, bore a 22 caliber gun of Mondial brand and a toy gun, which was used to scare their victims.
