Spanish – The campaign of the Democratic candidate for the U.S. Presidency, Joe Biden, has had “collaborators” at all levels of power. These are not volunteers, activists, or advisors. These are officials in key positions who have, in various ways, favored President Donald Trump’s rival, concealing compromising investigations, censoring scandals that affect his image, and preparing complacent forums and debates.
On January 20, 2017, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States. From that day on, the campaign of the Democrats against the Republican leader began. The goal was clear: get Trump out of the White House. So from the first year of his administration, detractors set their sights on the 2020 elections without ruling out shortcuts.
The investigation for the so-called “Russian plot” was the excuse to try to remove him through impeachment. The arguments had no way of being sustained. After a 22-month investigation, Special Prosecutor Robert Muller presented his final report in which he determined that he found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. However, one thing was clear: the FBI was taking sides in American politics.
The FBI’s scandalous silence
A report by U.S. Attorney General William Barr, to which Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham had access, reveals that Igor Danchenko, identified in July as the main source of the so-called Steele v. Trump file, was investigated between 2009 and 2011 by the FBI on suspicion of being a Russian agent who could be “a threat to national security.”
What is unusual about the case is that despite having this information, the FBI never notified the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of the situation. It thus allowed the file to continue to be used as evidence. This file was prepared by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele to be included in the investigation into the alleged conspiracy between the Trump and Russian campaign team.
The FBI not only hid its suspicions about Danchenko from the court but also used the Steele file as a basis for requesting an espionage order against Donald Trump’s campaign team. The agency gave so much credibility to the file that it pushed for its inclusion in a classified annex to the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment of Russian interference in the 2016 elections.
Despite knowledge of the serious problems with the file, the FBI at the time renewed spying orders against Trump’s campaign team. It later came to light that the Hillary Clinton campaign paid for this file, which the FBI also omitted.
FBI Must Answer For Hunter Biden’s Laptop
The scandal of the emails and photos compromising Joe Biden found on his son, Hunter Biden’s laptop puts the spotlight back on the FBI. Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson asked FBI Director Christopher Wray over the weekend to respond to the veracity of the information released last Wednesday by the New York Post.
According to information published in The Epoch Times, in his letter to the FBI director, Johnson indicates that an informant contacted his committee on September 24 to notify them about the laptop that was left at his store, claiming that he turned it in to the FBI. When he asked this agency if it could confirm or deny this information, the FBI responded that it could neither confirm nor deny it.
The laptop referred to by Johnson would be the same one that was supposedly taken to a repair shop before the emails about Hunter Biden’s alleged influence-peddling with his father when he was Barack Obama’s vice president were delivered to the New York Post. The purpose would have been to favor the Ukrainian gas company, Burisma, whose board of directors included Hunter Biden.
Moreover, a copy of the hard drive was sent to the former mayor of New York, Rudolph Giuliani. Trump’s fellow personal attorney revealed to Newsmax that sexually explicit photos of minors were found on Hunter Biden’s computer. He highlighted the case of a 14-year-old girl. The messages also found on the computer would further demonstrate that Joe Biden was aware of his son’s “sexual misconduct.”
Former Biden Advisor “Ensures Voting Integrity” on Facebook
Besides the silence of the FBI, managers of Facebook and Twitter worked diligently to stop the spread of the scandal. Shortly after the New York Post‘s investigative work was shared on these platforms, these social networks made an editorial decision limiting the spread of the message.
The reason is simple. Anna Makanju, the Facebook legal expert in charge of “ensuring the integrity of elections on the platform,” according to her biography at the Atlantic Council, had previously served as “former Vice President Joe Biden’s special policy advisor for Europe and Eurasia,” the Washington Examiner reported.
Meanwhile, Twitter claimed that its policy does not allow the use of this platform to distribute content obtained “through piracy.” It is worth remembering that the information disclosed by the New York Times about President Donald Trump’s taxes was obtained in the same way. In this case, no restriction was applied to its dissemination. CNN was quick to echo that information to continue its daily campaign against the president.
Debates and forums moderated by Democrats
The privileges for the Democratic candidate are evident when it comes to media exposure. In presidential debates and election forums, Joe Biden has been widely favored with moderators and participants with the right to ask questions sympathetic to his party.
Chris Wallace, the moderator of the first presidential debate, is a registered Democratic voter, according to information published by Newsweek and the BBC. On that occasion, Wallace’s different treatment of the candidates was particularly noticeable.
On October 15, the second debate between the candidates was scheduled to take place. However, the Commission on Presidential Debates decided to cancel it, accommodating Joe Biden’s concern about Donald Trump’s positive diagnosis for coronavirus.
The commission proposed to hold a virtual debate, which was rejected by the Republicans. The medical team had already authorized Trump to resume his public commitments, arguing that he was already cured. Instead, each candidate participated in a separate voter forum that day. Once again, Joe Biden was the spoiled candidate for the television network that organized the event, in this case, the ABC, according to the analysis of the BBC journalist in Washington, Anthony Zurcher.
George Stephanopoulos, the moderator of the forum with Biden, turned out to be a person connected with the Democratic Party. As Fox News notes, Stephanopoulos was White House communications director during the Clinton administration. Moreover, the people who asked the Democratic candidate questions included Nathan Osburn, who worked as a speechwriter for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Public Affairs Office during the Obama-Biden administration, according to an article on Fox news.
The moderator of the third debate celebrated Christmas with Obama
For the third and last presidential debate, the benevolence treatment of the Democratic standard-bearer could not be missing. The moderator of this meeting is the White House correspondent of NBC News, Kristen Welker. According to Fox News, Welker comes from a Democratic family that has even invested money in the party’s coffers and Trump’s opponents for years. Her parents reportedly donated tens of thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates and nearly 20,000 USD to Barack Obama alone.
This television network details that the Welker family has donated 3,300 USD to Joe Biden’s current campaign and, in 2016, donated 2,100 USD to Hillary Clinton’s campaign. In 2012, Kristen Welker and her family celebrated Christmas at the White House with Obama. The moderator of the third debate is registered as a Democratic voter in Rhode Island in 2004 and Washington in 2012.
Additionally, according to the Presidential Debates Commission, the topics to be discussed in this last round included the fight against the coronavirus, families, climate change, national security, and leadership.
The international theme was excluded. In this way, Donald Trump could not blame Joe Biden for everything related to the scandal of his son Hunter Biden with his business in Ukraine and the alleged influence-peddling he took advantage of when his father was vice president.
